Cariboni Group lights up the La Spezia Sports Arena with
high efficiency LED floodlights.
Wide visual comfort - energy efficiency - compliance with TV shots and slow motion - are the features guaranteed by
107 LED floodlights called NEWTON during their "first match" held at
Pala Mariotti. The project, in collaboration with
Tennis Led Point, included the installation of
highly performing LED floodlights in place of traditional discharge lamps.
The renowed sports facility, with capacity up to 3,500 seats, inaugurated last September on the occasion of
basketball friendly match between Soundreef Mens Sana and Fortitudo Bologna (category A2) - gave fans and sportsmen a
wonderful viewing experience thanks to the
net reduction of glare and
excellent visual comfort.

The new lighting system guaranteed multiple benefits.
NEWTON floodlight,
thanks to the
optics designed to achieve the best performance and the use of
highly efficient LED sources, is able to reach high-performance lighting, ensuring a
reduction of 70% annual energy consumption,
CO2 emissions and, given the durability of
LED floodlights for sports lighting, a
reduction of maintenance costs. NEWTON has also obtained
drop ball test certification carried out at IMQ certified laboratories, an indispensable pecularity for product application in sports environments.
