Green areas, Turin Smart City 2015

Cariboni group, with KALOS urban lighting fitting, won the tender organized by Iren Servizi e Innovazione, part of Iren Energia which directly undertakes the activities concerning the public lighting plants of the city of Turin.

According to the new town plan of the council lighting based on "Smart Cities & Communities" patronized by European Commission, Iren Servizi is undertaking an articulate renewing plan aiming at the energy efficient implementation and the consumption containment.

In 2015 International Year of Light Cariboni group provided 7,000 KALOS lighting fittings, smart system with the most innovative LED technologies and the wide range of optics for the green areas and cycle-pedestrian paths lighting, allowing the city of Turin to reach 70% of energy savings.
